After doing plenty of research on the variety of dynamic xlr microphones, I kept coming back to the Maono PD200X. Not only is the price point very competitive, but it has the option for USB, and XLR. My first few months of using this mic was through USB, and was told over and over by other gamers I have met that my voice was coming through so clear, and they would ask how that was so. Most people expected me to say it was a $400 mic, but when I told them it was not even 1/6th the price they couldn’t believe me. The mic and app were so easy to setup right out of the box, and it comes with a boom arm that clamps to your desk to free up space. As a new streamer, every inch of desk space matters so this was a plus for me. Since, I have swapped from USB to XLR as my new setup required it for my dual pc setup. And to add, the mic has some rgb, which lets be honest, is always a plus if your on camera. It has a convenient knob that’s easy to access for adjusting your volume and mute with a single press, and it turns red when your muted, so no second guessing, and green when your mic is active. I don’t usually leave reviews for products but I’ve had this mic for over a year now with daily use and have yet to encounter any issues, and still get compliments on the sound quality from both gamers, streamers, and viewers. If your looking to ditch the headset mic, and get a real mic that competes with the high end, but it priced on the lower end side, this is the mic for you.

I absolutely love my Maono PD200X. This microphone is a huge step up compared to my headset microphone especially for anyone looking to get into the XLR game without completely emptying their wallet. The price point is simply fantastic for a microphone that offers both USB and XLR connectivity, making it an incredibly versatile tool for streamers, podcasters, and musicians alike. It’s an investment that punches well above its weight class, delivering a sound quality that rivals much more expensive microphones on the market.Beyond the incredible value, I have to give a huge shout-out to Maono’s customer support. I broke a part on the mic arm and they sent me a replacement without hesitation. You get a professional-quality microphone at a budget-friendly price, backed by a company that genuinely cares about its customers.

This is our second round of Moano microphones and this newer model doesn’t only sound amazing but looks amazing too! Love the customizable lights and the computer program to adjust the sound. This one is super special because ITS PINK!!! Love the pink color and the matching arm and wire! This is so simple to where all you do is plug it into your computer and start recording! We have a popular podcast but don’t make popular podcast money so we can’t afford the expensive mics but these are cost effective and have a very good sound.

Good! Bought and used once for a podcast I was a guest on. My co-author and I used to say microphone and it worked good. The host of the show like the sound quality. It was for my new book, The Wager and 11 other short stories. It is being really September 27, 2025. I produced the movie The Wager, came out in 2020, still on Amazon prime.
