I bought the Logitech G502 for both gaming and general use, and it’s been fantastic. The sensor is extremely accurate, the customizable DPI range is great for switching between fast movements and precision aiming, and the adjustable weights let me fine-tune the feel to my preference. The build quality is solid, with responsive buttons and a comfortable shape that works well for long sessions. The scroll wheel has both notched and free-spin modes, which is great for quickly scrolling through documents or swapping weapons in games. Logitech’s software makes customizing macros and RGB lighting a breeze. After trying a few other mice over the years, the G502 is still my go-to for reliability, comfort, and performance.
Logitech knows how to make a great mouse and this is one of the best mouses of all time. It’s a “budget” mouse but just as good as the higher end stuff. It’s very smooth it’s got an advanced laser tracker, the Logitech software makes it easy to change the dpi to what ever you want. The forum factor is great comfortable for small and big hands. It has buttons all over the side that’s easy to reach and program to diffrent functions. Also has many cool light modes.
If you talk about this mouse, you really need to talk about the Logitech software, There are 3 different downloads at the Logitech website to change your 5 profile settings if you don’t like the default settings on the G502. The one they will suggest first is G HUB and it is by far the worst and most convoluted to learn to setup and use. The second which they are phasing out is Logitech Gaming Software. (If you install both G HUB and Logitech Gaming Software, and you try to use Logitech Gaming Software, it will not allow you to use it, and it will tell you to use G HUB instead even though many FAQ’s at the Logitech website still refer to Logitech Gaming Software.) However, the third, and the one you should download and use, is called Onboard Memory Manager. It is very simple and easy to figure out, does almost everything you want it to, and it doesn’t also install a lot of other crap on your system.NOTE: If you do wind up installing G HUB or Logitech Gaming Software, the setting DPI LIGHTING for “ALWAYS ON” is unchecked by default and is not in Onboard Memory Manager. (By default, when you change profiles, the side DPI lights on the G502 briefly go on and then go off to indicate what profile you are on.) I suspect this setting is unchecked by default for a reason, because I could not get it to work properly when set to “ALWAYS ON”. When this option is checked the side DPI lights would not stay on the proper profile indicator to indicate the current profile setting, and they would randomly change (such as when I used the scroll wheel.) What I did was to keep this setting in G HUB or Logitech Gaming Software unchecked. Then in Onboard Memory Manager I would select a fixed color for each profile so I would always know what profile I was currently on. (BTW, this is similar to what is on the wireless G305 mouse but they are only small dots of color, you can’t change the default colors, and they only select up to 5 different DPI settings on only one available onboard profile as opposed to the 5 profiles each with 5 DPI settings on the G502.)Unless you have a desire to be frustrated, do yourself a favor and just download Onboard Memory Manager. On the G502, the only reason I can see for using G HUB or Logitech Gaming Software is if you want to change settings for mouse click one or two, which Onboard Memory Manager won’t allow, or if you want to setup profiles for individual games and software on your computer, in which case I would lean in favor of Logitech Gaming Software which is much more intuitive and easy to use.All that being said, once you get past setting the G502 up, the mouse performance is outstanding. I didn’t add the weights since the mouse felt fine to me. And even though the highest default DPI setting is at 6400, you can set it all the way up to 25,600 if you wish. Also, I have small hands, and even though some of the buttons I will never be able to push without really reaching, it’s very comfortable using for long periods of time, and for the current price you can’t beat it.
So far so good. I’ve used a bunch of Logitech mice and they’ve all been generally good. Feels comfortable and ergonomic and this one has weights to adjust to your preference. Easy customizable buttons which there are a bunch of. Scrolling wheel can be switched to free spinning or detents with a push of a button.Only issue I’ve had with some Logitech mice are getting double clicks after some use. It was a bit of a cheaper model so hopefully this one holds up. I’m mainly using it as a secondary mouse for my console for some games so time will tell if this ever happens to this model. The few times I’ve used it on my PC, it’s been working great so far. Like with all my reviews, I’ll update if anything changes. .
A fairly solid mouse in terms of quality. You no longer need to have Logitechs software running with the ability to use on board settings but if you wish there is plenty of costomization of the colors and lighting brightness. Switching from an older wired G502 it does feel that the newer counterparts may be of a lower overall build quality, especially the mouse wheel, but I’m still happy with the mouse I’ve grown the most used to but with more features. The wireless Bluetooth works extremely well and I’ve never had any sort of perceived lag or delay, and battery last for long enough I almost never have to think about it as long as it’s plugged in maybe once a week.I will always appreciate the lightweight body with nice comfortable but grippy sides and the extra buttons compared to other mice without it being too much. The free spinning scroll wheel may seem like a gimmick but you will find yourself using it more and more whether your scrolling web pages or video game inventories.
This is the perfect gaming mouse for the price it has. It works perfect, the quality is amazing. It’s pretty big, good for palm grips. I have 2 of these, the KDA version and the black one.(Both look amazing). You can personalize the buttons with the Logitrch G software and set any key you want, even macros, DPI, etc.
Very gud
Buy it, it’s not heavy at all, if u don’t have the power to use this as your main mouse ur weak💀
Worth every penny
Using it for work.Multi-functional buttons, smooth scrolling, able to make the pointer speed faster or slower with a click of button, never needing battery.Totally worth the price of about $54 that I paid.

Can’t Go Back After This
Great mouse! Smooth, comfortable, adjustable weight, and tons of functionality. Battery lasts about a week for me before needing to be recharged, which is more than enough. Even then, it charges pretty fast. Previously used a mouse that had 2 side buttons and some DPI buttons in the middle aside from the normal features, but this one has those oriented in a different more ergonomic position along with an additional thumb button that can be held to temporarily adjust your DPI which is great for FPS games. It also has a toggle switch for infinite scroll, which while I haven’t found much use for, works as intended and pretty fun to do. Never going back to a corded mouse. Can highly recommend!
